Intro

My main interests include metadata for text, statistics and GIS, linked data and the semantic web.  

I am senior information specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). I worked at the National Council of Research (CNR) in Pisa, and at the University of Amsterdam, where I obtained a PhD in computer science.
